The book of Nehemiah describes the courageous efforts of Nehemiah to rebuild the walls around the ancient city of Jerusalem. This servant, a cup bearer of king Artaxerxes, became a leader, community builder, architect, politician and diplomat. He saw a need and works tirelessly to accomplish the task God lays upon him.

I am not a Nehemiah. I have been a leader in both large and small organizations. I have always tried to be a servant leader and I am now content to be a child of God working on the wall. Trying to do my part to build God's kingdom and serve others. As I work, live, love and play I notice things that seem unique and of importance to me. The purpose of this blog is to share those things. Perhaps they will be of some value to you.
